Hello everyone.
As you know I breed and raise little Lovebirds. A little bit ago one of the ladies that purchased two birds from me contacted me and told me that she did not have time for them with the onset of her new job. Of course, I immediately told her I would take them in and try and tame them to how they originally were.
I am unsure of their genders but I am 99% sure one of them is a female. The female is around 5 months old while the other little bird is about 1 year old. I would not like to separate them as they have seemed to be bonded to each other. They have been with each other for about 3 months or so. They are very sweet and crave human attention. They are both very smart and one of them can even mumble a few words - or try to at least lol. I have started working with them to tame them and they are catching on very quickly. Within a few days, the female has already relearned to step up on my finger! The other little one is more shy - the one year old.
I do not want them to be moving from home to home so I am planning to be extra critical and picky on who they go home with.
I would like for them to go to someone who has a large outdoor/indoor aviary or someone who will spend a ton of time with and tame them to how I know they can be.
I am not sure about the rehoming fee as my main priority is to find them an amazing home. I did charge $150 for the female and $175 for the other little guy. Of course the rehoming fee will be less.
I wish I could keep them, if I could I most certainly would.
Thank you.
(These pictures were taken before they left my home) Their colors have grown in vibrancy.
