Toucans as pets?

how are toucans as pets? What other type of bird are they most like(in care and personality)? I’m not planning on getting one anytime soon, just wondering.

In terms of diet, they are similar to lories. One important thing to know about toucans is that they are very susceptible to hemochromatosis.

They aren't like a parrot in some ways but are still very intelligent. They need large enclosures as they cannot climb with their beaks like hookbills.

This is graphic but Toucans will kill and eat birds (there is one with an Amazon in it's mouth in the video) and small animals
