Were enroute home his carrier has this white mesh stuff everywhere so you can't see in clearly so pics will have to wait

I get to experience this soon with my caiques. Never picked up anything before not from the actual breeder.

Can't wait until he gets settled in to hear everything and watch him grow here on AA

Definitely NOT fully weaned!

He plays with pellets, not eats them. The roudybush he did eat was swallowed whole without chewing (are they supposed to do that? My other guys like to chew it first...). He was doing the "Daddy feed me" motions after gulping down about 1/8 cup of the roudybush so I added more water to the mash I made, which he ate from a spoon in the typical hand feeding fashion.

Not sure if this is just a comfort feeding or not. We'll see in the morning when I take him to the vet =\

Don't worry too much so soon. He could be perfectly fine. I was told when I got my cag that they can go back to begging for food when they come home. Mine wouldn't eat pellets for about 3-5 days and I was freaking out. She gobbled up her mash and veggies though.
Remember he just got home, so he's probably scared and wanting comfort. I know baby greys sure can steal your heart away because they love to snuggle
