Tink

Tink was helped to the Rainbow Bridge at 2:32 pm today. In 6 days she would have been 11 years old.

Her suffering was too great to ignore. By the time the end came she was bleeding from her rear, she couldn't move, she could hardly breathe and even holding up her head was laborious.

She was at peace as she slipped away, we told her how much we loved her and that she was a very good girl. We got to stay with her for almost half an hour after she passed.

Her ashes and a clay paw print will be coming home in a week or so.

It's evident how much you cared for her and how and loving she was. You gave her a great life and did everything you could to make her comfortable.
She fought hard and so did you.

My longest lived rottie mix passed about 1 month before his 11th birthday. I've had a terrible feeling... it's heartbreaking that the big ones don't have more time with us.

We went out for a bit- It was so hard coming home to nothing. No greetings at the door, no barking when we leave. No requesting of biscuits. I don't have anyone to share my pork chops with. No-one to lay on the floor and snuggle.

The little everyday things are some of the hardest.

Yep. I cant tell you how many times i turned to go to Noelle’s bed ... and she wasn’t there any more. But we couldnt move it, either.

You did your best for her and she loved you for that. I’m so sorry.
