so, it's finally time. I'm ready.
I'm switching my fids over to pellets. They will both eat them, but it isn't the majority of their diet. I've ordered a brand new bag of Zupreem (yes, it is dyed, and I know that's not the best but it's better than them having a seed mix, and it's the only pellet they will currently eat.)
They are currently on a mix of 30% seed (millet, safflower, some others and a few sunflower seeds) 10% small nuts (pistachios, almonds, unshelled walnuts, no peanuts) 30% Zupreem fruitblend pellets, 10% dried fruit and vegetables, and 20% fresh fruit and vegetables.
I am going to see if I can remove the 30% seed mix from their daily bowls, and have them only as treats. I picked out a handful of pellets from their mix, moistened them, and Toto LOVED it. He dug in! But Bobo only likes the dry ones.
I've waited long enough.
