They Communicate!

I was in playing with Holly, Cochise was out looking out the back window. Gryphon was looking out the side window, and had been muttering something. Then all of the sudden his voice changed, and he made a series of chirps in a row. Holly and Cochise's head both snapped at attention, they got that look in their eye, as if it was an alarm of a predator. I have seen Cochise do it, and Holly react, but never Gryphon to both of them. It was cool.

My Sunshine will often hear a cat meow or knock something down in the catroom which is next door to the birdroom and she will let out an alert chirp. Every bird in the room stops what they are doing and any bird lower down in the room flies to the higher perches or boings. It takes a few minutes for them to realize the cat is not in the room and go back to their normal activities. The birds also react if Emmie sees a cat come in the room and makes an alert sound as well.
