Everyone, meet Sparrow. He was still there when I went back, his brother had been adopted. I instantly pulled him out and he's mine now. That pet store is just so amazing. They pick up these strays and when I adopted him they gave me his first exam at the vet center free and so much off on his neutering. In the end just those things exceeded what his adoption fee was, not counting his first shots and all the tests they did. Mogwai is giving him thoughtful looks from across the room. I have no regrets, all I can do is look at him and smile.

Boy, I've forgotten kittens are like little streaks. He spent the night curled up under my chin and on the couch alternately. As soon as the lights came on he's challenged everything in the house to battle and won most of his battles. We're getting ready to take him to the vet for a general check up and all that. So far, Sparrow is loving everything. Oh! And I found the neatest toy when I was out getting him and picking stuff up for him. It's a little pad of paper that's made partially from catnip. You just peel off a sheet, crumple it up and throw it on the floor. Finally a toy marketed for cats who make toys of non toy items.
