It would be an interesting test! He went for the lighter, brighter colors first, but not the natural wood color. Very interesting Rudy Tudy!

That's so funny that Rudy loves red... I think Lola is afraid of red I put a red perch in her cage the other day and she was TERRIFIED!!! I had to line it with sunflower seeds to make her feel okay about it
She's also horrified by my Miele, which is red, despite the fact that she's seen it every single day since she's moved in Come to think of it she has had a lot of blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, even pink toys... but not too much red. I wonder how she'd react??

I actually did the SAME experiment w/ Sparx for a biology project in high school!!
I was going to do it with food, but Sparx is so picky.. She only ate the cucumber..
So then I tried colors and that worked. And it inspired me to try to get Sparx to UNDERSTAND the colors, so I made flash cards and tried teaching her, like Dr. Pepperberg. Butttt, it didn't work.
