I haven't been very camera happy lately (unusual for me!), but yesterday evening I felt the urge to take pictures of something. These two are my favourite from the lot

How do you do the selective coloring? I really like it

I use the "color accent" function on my camera I'm sure you could do it with photo editing software too, but I'm not entirely what the easiest way to do that would be!

I love the color accent option. They're great photos, love how the blue blends in with the bike its self and the background.

wow, awesome pictures! I am not sure if my camera has a color accent either. Mine is a Canon Digital Rebal XTI.

I have a Canon Powershot S3 IS.

I don't know how it is on all cameras, but on mine the Color Accent is an option in the SCN setting on the mode dial.

That would make sense. I have a dslr and it does not have a scene mode, oh well!

Yeah us DSLR users can't do it in camera (I miss my SX10 at times!!)
But it is a fairly easy effect to replicate in photoshop/most editors

Thanks, Kristy I have no idea what kind of bike it is actually! We found it in our barn when we first moved to the farm 12 years ago, it had been left by the previous owners. I'll check and see if it says on the bike what kind it is
