If you have or had a yellow collared Macaw I would love to hear all about them I had never heard of them until my cousin called and said one chose him
Well thats not exactly true. Just like it isnt true for any other animal. To make a relationship work, it has to be worked at.I don't know anything about Mini macaws at all
Happy for my cousin though. I rmember reading if a macaw picks you then you don't usually have any problems.
Same as with any other species, it can be. It depends on the bird, its owner, time spent, type of training, etc. But, the short answer is, yes, they can be a little territorial. I can't do anything with my minis' cages while they are in them. They just don't like that So, I don't try it then. For the most part, though, if you are willing to grant them some independence, they're very smart, and training them is easy.Are those common problems with Macaws?
