There is a 2 yr old female Bourke parakeet for sale near me. She's been a breeder and not tamed. I know they are known to be a "gentle" bird. How possible do you think it would be to hand tame her?

It is possible, however it will take some time. Also, it is possible that she will only be a bird that enjoys sitting with you, but not being touched.
