ever since i got Happy, my female cockatiel, her tail was bobbing.
i got her about a year and a half ago, took her to a vet who identified a bound egg and treated her. i was thankful she came through the ordeal alive and because the vet said she was back to peak health i did not seek further advice.
a few months later i moved to a different city and took the birds to a new vet who gave them a check up and said they were in perfect health. i did not mention the tail bobbing.
so now, a year after that check up i'm taking them in for another check up with a new vet. i was too embarrassed to ask about the tail bob after two vets told me my birds were healthy but this time i will press the issue.
i feel very guilty about not addressing this sooner but i also didn't want to question the certified vet's opinion.
however, with this new vet i made the appointment with this issue as first priority and general check up second. i hope everything goes well.
