Poor M-Star, I know you must be in such shock and pain. She'll always be with you, she was such a gorgeous bird and has stolen many hearts on this forum.
Winter is coming here and the mornings are colder and darker. This morning I would have reached into her cage and she would have scrambled up and dived into my dressing gown for morning snuggles.
Oh no Jam! I did not know this. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that you did everything you could, and she know that too.
She was so loved, and in your heart she will stay forever.
Anesthesia can be dangerous to birds, which is why surgery is always the last option in avian medicine. It sounds like she was at her last option. You did all you could, JAM. I understand feeling guilty but it isn't your fault.
