Beware, those little trouble makers are bound to get on your nerves! Nico somehow defied the laws of physics and was shooting poop at the wall and ceiling! How does one do that! Then I was talking to him by his cage and he came out of his Snuggle Hut just to launch a poop at my chest and climb back in before yelling at me. Little clowns...

I can relate to that. Milton has pooped three feet above his cage on several occasions and I don't know he does it....but he knows he does it because he comments on his creation after he produces it...

Congratulations! Lucky birdie to have found you, the best home a birdie can have! I read Miltie's post, he will soon have him in line!
Sorry for the delay! This is Buddy, a nanday conure at the rescue/sanctuary where I volunteer. We don't have tons of info on him, but he was surrendered to the rescue, along with several other birds a little over 2 years ago. He was apparently not very friendly for a bit when he first arrived (scared, understandably), but now he's become a really sweet little boy. I'm trying to find some more info from his band, but the vet I believe estimated him to be around 8 years old.
Still working on getting him to play with more toys, but I've finally found a few he likes. It's also been a struggle to get him to bathe, but he does let me get to some of his pin feathers usually. I'm sure Bob and Milton will be able to convince him that "wet" and showers are great!)
He's really only "loud" (and it doesn't seem terribly loud to me, but I'm sure the LOUD macaws I hear most of the day when I'm there influence my volume perception) when chiming in with other birds.
Buddy loves to sit on your shoulder and just hang out. He will whisper to you (usually "baby baby baby") and give kisses.
This is an older photo - one of the first few times he decided I was "ok" up and wanted me to hold him. He sat like this with his little head pressed up to my cheek for a while.
Still working on getting him on an even better diet, but thankfully he's going to a wonderful home where I know he will flourish! I'm so excited for Buddy. I told him yesterday that he's landed "the jackpot of homes!" He has no idea (yet) how lucky he is.
