Some doggie news!

I realized today that I am a horrible mommy! My Maggie turned 16 yrs on Dec24th! I forgot to wish her a Happy Birthday! She is deaf and blind but still has lots to love!


We are in the middle of a terrible snow storm! expecting 24 inches and 55 mph winds. So far we have about 3 inches but it is very windy! Tully said, "Mom, I am not going down in that yard!"


My daughter lives with two house mates in Baltimore. Their neighbor is a lady that breeds and competes with Samoyed dogs. She hitched the dogs up to a sleigh tonight and they are mushing up and down their street! My daughter is on the right.

I can't even visualize what 24" of snow would look like. The most snow we have had where I live is 14" and I thought THAT was a lot. Stay safe and warm.
This is crazy! Heard on CNN that Wash. DC might get 40" of snow before this thing is done.

Oops! I forgot to wish Maggie a Happy Birthday. She is precious. A blind And deaf doggie?. Well she looks so sweet. May she (and you) have more happy years together.

And dog sleds- sounds like fun!

Happy belated birthday Maggie, to many more.
I love Samoyeds, my grandfather used to breed them years ago.
But I must say, my favorite breed are Bullmastiffs. Not sure mine would pull a sled though, might just plop down and sleep. Love my "little" girl though!
