Saturday*10/16/10*moving/yard sale

I did write to ask what kind of parrot, will post if I hear back. Anyone in the area to help this bird? Being sold at a garage sale.

Aww poor little thing... Breaks my heart sold at a garage sale.. I know there was someone who joined here last week from Mass... He was a beginner with birds and didn't own one yet.. Hopefully those people selling the bird will write you back and you can post what kind of birdie it is.. And maybe that newbie will see your post here and get that baby.

Makes me sick, people selling a part of their family in a yard sale. At least find your bird a good home, not in a yard sale, if you "cant" take your pet with you, and many can they just choose not to.

My mom saw two parrots who were being sold at a garage sale a few years ago. From what I gathered they were a 'too and an amazon but I didn't see them myself so I have no clue. She said that they were very large birds, but were in small cages and they were each a few hundred dollars. So sad.

This happens a lot here in Phoenix. I've been looking at CL in hopes of finding a new baby for my flock. It's amazing how many people are rehoming their birds on there because they "don't have the time for them" anymore. I wish I could take them all in.
