I'm so sorry to hear this, Victoria. Snickers did live a long, happy life with you. Hopefully you can take some comfort in that. Somehow, though, I know that it always seems like the passings that are "expected" (with birds that's almost never the case, but you know what I mean) are less piercingly painful, but terribly more tragic in many ways. The type of hurt is just not the same.
