There aren't many options, and generally the least expensive is USPS Flat Rate boxes.

What is the cheapest way to ship to Hong Kong, or the best way?

Does anyone have any opinions on the services available?
Danita....shipping International from Canada has one big flaw - there is no tracking service available through Canada Post, as there is when shipping to the U.S.
Shipments go via Canada Post International.
I am not aware of any other shipping method for overseas.
We have never had a problem, or a lost package, but be aware that it can take 4-6 weeks for parcels to arrive in Europe or Asia.

Unfortunately, Canada Post does not offer flat rate boxes.
(we wish they did!!)

I just shipped out a order yesterday to China and I used a USPS Large Flat Rate Box - it was not cheap for the customer!! Luckily her order fit in it, otherwise it would have been like $10. more. There usually is no cheap way and our post office sticks it to you royally! Maybe you should ask your post office there on shipping internationlly for the best ways and rates. Also, out USPS Priority Mail International normally include up to a $100. of insurance on the box. Our international time for delivery is normally 6-10 business days. Geesh, 4 to 6 weeks? Is it going by boat?? LOL!

She has checked with Canada Post and the options are limited compared to some of the options available here :)

A parcel up to 1.999 kgs is fairly reasonable but anything over 2 kgs is 99.00 and up by Canada Post.
Purolator was $140!!! But it only takes 3 days....
UPS wouldn't let me calculate it for some reason.

I think I will just make sure the box is under 2 kgs.

Thanks for all the tips. I thought there was something more economical overseas.
