Are the lafeber meal bars okay for sugars like the tropical blend one you think @Hankmacaw? I just reordered the senior blend berries and going to give her the other pellets till the other ones arrive.
The Senior Berries have less sugar than the others - the ones that say tropical, fruit, orchard have more sugar. If you will change her pellets to one without so much sugar such as Harrison's, Zupreem naturals, roudybush there would be nothing to worry about. Even better, if you can work some veggies, including green leafy veggies into her diet it would be a big improvement.
She won't touch them I've been trying for years. I'll sneak some roudybusch in her food and see if she will eat that. She's been very sleepy this morning poor thing. I'll see if I can get her to try some broccoli tomorrow and cilantro.
@fluffypoptarts it's been a lot of reading fixing and cuddles over the weekend she's pretty tuckered out. I have to get a fleece blanket for her cage bottom and a pad to keep her warm when she naps.
They are going to let her know what is going on in the morning and if she needs to be brought in they will let me know. With her age and the fact they are not happening that often it's not worth putting her through the stress of blood work. She is getting up there in age.
They want me to keep and eye on her and journal her seizures for now. If she has them more than once a day I need to call them asap and bring her in. I am going to be ordering a nanny cam in the morning when I get off of work. I found one that will work and I can afford.
So sorry to hear your having these issues with your fid ...I would really try to get an appt and have her looked at ..Sending tons of hugs and healthy thoughts your way
