Dear God, please surround Dovey with your presence and healing light. Please let the vet do the right tests to find out what the problem is. Make them skilled, insightful and compassionate. Please let it not be serious and allow Dovey to make a complete recovery without any set backs or complications.

Ginger

Will explain more later, but our vet gave me some study results etc showing the inefficiency of gram/fecal/swabs. Apparently the more cutting edge approach is that such things are actually not useful due to the inefficiency of exam and comprehension of changes (unless an obvious symptom is present).

Again, will explain more later about that.

Dovey is in oxygen right now. I have access via Tapatalk on my phone.

We will keep you posted :(

:hug8: for you and Dovey. I hope everything turns out well. You said "unless obvious symptoms are present." Wouldn't breathing difficulty be considered an obvious symptom? I'm not sure now is the time for cutting edge. I'd do the swabs.

Lovey Dove flew over the Bridge tonight at 5:30. He went into cardiac arrest and we felt it was more humane to let him go, based on the chances that life-saving CPR would be effective.

Fly free, precious boy.
