Any ideas on how to sneak RPO into my Fids?

Beaks, who seems to have stopped barbering his feathers but looks a mess, does NOT like it. I've put it in Chop and got sneaky on some in bird biscuits, but he won't touch either. I can't really get Mo to eat much except his dry foods, and have even tried to roll some of his seeds into it-he just avoids the damp seeds.
Coconut oil is better accepted by Beaks but RPO seems to be so much better for them.

Do they eat any hot cereal? That is where I put it in.

I mix it in Almond Butter and give them a blob on a popsicle stick.

When mixing into food start out with just a tiny little bit so it doesn't have a big effect on the taste. Then slowly increase the amount.

I will try both the Almond Butter and Bird Crackers.

I tried some in oatmeal and where he would normally scarf it down he took one taste and started wiping his beak on the T stand or (cage side) and left.
I am not his favorite Momma for about an hour. He acts like I'm trying to poison him.

Put it in bird bread. :)
I tried it in bird muffins (they turned out more like biscuits though). It's the first bird bread i made that he wont eat.

Babalu won't eat it if it's not chilled, in solid form. I keep it in the fridge and get a little chunk out of it daily for him with his morning chop.

Joey likes John's Parrot Butter on whole grain toast.
My tiels who are fussy eaters will eat it.

I've been wanting to try that. I'll look it up.
I put hemp, millet, chia and buckwheat seeds in it.
Fussy cockatiels pick out the millet seed, so atleast they are getting some RPO.
Good luck.

Charlie loves it but Lucius only will occasionally eat a bit when its in a more solid state/form. I usually just have to sneak it by stirring some into his sweet potatoes or sweet potato mash and he doesn't seem to notice, since it's a similar color. I also frequently "hide" it by showing him I'm adding a tiny bit coconut oil too, which he likes, so that he's not suspicious of the consistency and it may help mask the RPO taste. Please don't tell him. :D

Thank you Rolanda. Is this good for cockatiels? I remember seeing this but thought it was given to other species of birds.

I was thinking about that yesterday. Beaksey LOVES scrambled egg. I think I'll try it in some lunch eggs today!

My cockatiel loves RPO melted on top of warm bird bread (well, I shape mine like mini donuts but it's still the same thing). She usually has an orange beak for a bit after.
