Rocky's Eye Update

Well we took Rocky to the eye specialist (which is a 4 hour dive) and he did the pressure reading which was 35, a bit high but she is not in any pain. She is 100% blind now and that will not change. She was actually pretty good this time. She didn’t bark as much. If her eye pressure reading does not drop by the next visit he may put her on a new drop. But the eye does not have to be removed because she is not in any pain.

Na, Im lucky to have them. Thanks, she my little girl. Her and her bratty sister and I mean that in a good way, she’s all bad but I love her to bits.

Ya, she usually snuggles up in a blanket and I hold her.

How will you deal with her being 100% blind? How is she doing getting around?

Well she is now 100% blind. She listens to my commands. I started this when she could see. I new sher was going to go blind so I started her with commands. She follows me around and I go slowley arpound the house with her stomping my feet. She also walks slow around, she does bump into things sometimes. When I sat STOP she stops because she knows she is going to hit something and I pick her up and put her in the direction she wants to go. But the commands are very important. I also walks really loud so she can hear my feet. But she goes off and around the house by herself, she does well. She is just careful and you would be amazed at how well she does.
