I've been looking for an inexpensive playstand for Ripley that I can put in the bedroom. When I'm working, I can't be with him because I have a pet free workshop and office area. Josh meanwhile is usually playing video games in the bedroom. I wanted to give Ripley a place he can be with Josh while also being able to freely eat and play.
At any rate, I saw this Caitec Acrobird Pyramid on Amazon for $42, but had an open box available for $27. It arrived today but missing some hardware. I knew the items could be found at my local Home Depot, so I asked Amazon if they could give me a discount on the playstand so I could go buy the hardware. They credited me $10, bringing my total to $17. Hardware was less than $3
It's much bigger than I expected! Kind of awful to put together though
I'll be replacing the metal chains but I have those materials already.
He was a little nervous as first but I put it next to his cage with some almonds and it took all of a minute before he was checking it out!
