Jessica, I'm sorry that you lost Tank. He was beautiful. I almost feel like I know him from your stories of when you first got him. I'm sure that he left big paw prints on your heart.

So sorry to hear about Tank.
I'm definitely missing him tonight. He had gotten to a good healthy weight and had blossomed as part of our family. Loved by even people who swore they "hated" dogs.
He was happy. He had come so far from the hurting emaciated soul that he was when we first picked him up all those Christmases ago. And to think someone was going to put him down before we got him. He was the sweetest fighter - always putting forth a good ready-to-please attitude even when he was in severe pain. Right up to his last seconds he was trying to gently lift the family's spirits.
