i have been blessed the last few days with beautiful flocks of cardinals picking up berries off my holly tree. There are some blue jays and yellow rumpled warblers (I think) mixed in. They are so delightful. I just hope none fall victim to my cats. So much danger

Well, you could always keep your cats inside or build an outside enclosure so they can't eat the native wild birds. I keep mine indoors and enjoy the wildlife guilt free.

No way I'm going to expose my bird eating cats to cheeky. I'd rather feel bad about outside nature than feel guilty if they killed my parrot. Besides that ,I have them to get mice in the barn and when I occasionally have to keep them in the tack room for some reason, they become very unhappy and start to tear things up trying to get out. Last time broke the dividers on the window
