Raw or roasted cashews?

Does anyone know which are safer for parrots?

I buy raw nuts over roasted for nutritional value and I think they taste better. Other than peanuts, I'm unaware of any safety issues.

I've not ventured into getting nuts yet for Kenzie but I do get them on occasion for ourselves (make energy bars with them) and found a site online that's pretty decent price wise! NutsOnline, now Nuts.com | Premium Bulk & Wholesale Nuts, Dried Fruits & Gift Baskets (they changed their name from nutsonline to just nuts - still good though). You can get just about ANYTHING from them and in bulk also. I make PoppySeed cake during the holidays and that's the ONLY way to buy poppyseed as it's pricey if you buy it in those tiny bottles!

We do all our nuts raw here. I feel like there would be more nutritional value, plus they love them either way.
