Rabbit BioGS 2.0 Air Purifier

Does anybody have this model and, if so, what do you think about it?
Noise level? Does it work well? etc.
Rabbit sent me an offer to upgrade my original Rabbit BioGS and get a discount. Not sure whether or not I should do this, although I wanted a new purifier.

I have a BioGS but I'm not at home and don't know what model I have. I bought mine second hand.

Nothing happened. It works although it shuts down on its own in automatic mode so I only use it in manual mode. I wanted to get another one and the discount on the upgrade offer is nice. Don't have to return the one I have now so would have two of them. Would replace one of the therapures I have with the new one.

I got the same email a while back. If you like the old version and need anoher, why not? I LOVE Rabbit Air, and wish I had bought another instead of the other pricey brand which is WAY louder... I say go for it!

Do you have a 2.0 or the original version? Sorry that the other one you bought is too loud.

Email sent to owners of original BioGS. BTW, make sure you are on their email list because they send out other special offers every now and then. I'm not sure what I am going to do. Have to check my available funds. I wonder if they are going to put out a newer version. I've never seen them offer a large discount before.

That's the one I have. Does your auto setting work well? Mine shuts off when it runs on auto so I have to set it on manual and choose the fan speed rather than let the purifier determine it. The first one I had did the same thing so I exchanged it.

Thanks. That's the BioGS 2.0. Is it fairly quiet? I know that the original one is.

Whatever I have I think it's quiet!

We have it in our bedroom.

It will either go in living room or birds' room. Right now have a Therapure in birds' room and original one is in the living room. They offered me $100 off so I think that's a good deal although would be nice to find one even cheaper.

Have to decide which size I want:
The one that covers 550 sq feet or the one that covers 625 sq feet. Only a $30 difference between them.
The BioGS has an option to turn negative ions on or off. Does the 2.0 version have the same option?

I found the manual online and I can turn off the negative ions.
@Clueless have you had to change the HEPA filter yet? If so, how long did it last before you replaced it?
