My own secrets no Other people's I'll take to the grave Also I was just too excited!

There's actually a lot of mutations I guess; the rosey being the most popular. My boy is wild type.

So many people tell me Bourkes don't really care for toys, so I'm interested to see if he likes any of mine!

My Bourkes will poke at toys occasionally but is picky - preening or shredded paper toys are more her jam than block toys. Mostly she just likes to fly, so we keep her cage her cage empty in the middle.

Once we're through quarantine and acclimated everyone, I am hoping we can have an open cage door policy as much as possible to allow all of the flying! Bosco (my linnie) also loves to fly and zoom all around!

Thank you for the tips about toys! Right now in his cage I've got a stainless steel toy, a preener, one with thin balsa and shred paper, and one with small sola beads and mahogany pods. But I've got many more parts and toys around to customize whatever he gravitates to!
