Lisa, I don't know how I missed this thread but I did so am just reading it now. I am so relieved Kirby is going to be alright and that he is recovering from surgery well. I can picture a very waggy tail when you go pick him up.

Great news...he's probably better off at the vets resting, so don't feel too bad you aren't there...he will be so much better when you do get to see him.

Oh wow, I am so sorry i missed this thread earlier...poor Kirby, but what a great and happy ending! I am so happy he made it through the surgery! He is so lucky to have you caring for him!!! Can't wait to see pics when he is back home.
