Outside. Do your parrots ever walk on the roofs of their cages?I'm not getting the picture
is this shelf inside or outside the cage?
I know the caiques do.. but what about the quakers?

All the time. I'm going to put in my *own* always-dropped-down porches at the topOutside. Do your parrots ever walk on the roofs of their cages?

Big order for Tricia coming up
i'm excited about these ideas!!brilliant shelf idea!! woohoo
Sunny spends all his time on his shelf hanging off his cage door, don't ask me why i didn't think of it--
yay we have Merlie for ideas like that
Feebee it is kindof heavy and those bars are not attached to the frame except at the ends, but I will ask if they can sustain the weight. If yes, then shelf there too! They can pick where they want to perch!Ah yes, a rope perch wouldnt work, but could you not attach the 'shelf' upside down just under the handle for the grate? as there are the same sized bars that it could attach to (though i dont own a shelf so not 100% sure of the attachment), the reason i say upside down so its not a big step down for them, its only a little?
i know. force of habitHow come always drop down shelf perches? On the shelf I got from EH it specifically said to mount it the opposite way / upside down from how you have it?
