Just got in...we are safe. Give me some time for coffee, and coming down from the drive, and I will be back. Sheba is worse than when she left, but very happy to see us. Thanks everyone. Please just be patient.

Carole...just came on to see what was happening on AA and saw your wonderful thread about Sheba. You have always had a very eclectic flock and you seem to always be the forever home in the life cycle of these birds. Can't wait to hear the follow up. Hope the weather is good there and you can enjoy the weekend.

Aw, I am so sorry she's worse off. Many prayers that now that she's home she will be able to tell you what to do to help her.

Thanks again for all the love!
So it was a long day, I am exhausted, mentally and physically. But now I have two cups of coffee in me..lol.
It was wonderful to meet my friend Keri for the first time. I gashed my leg pretty bad on the crate somehow..three times!
And to spite the upside down rain dance, I did hit about 40 minutes worth of heavy rain coming home. But, we are ok, and we are going to take it slow, but up from here!
Sheba had some food, and is beak grinding and getting used to her new cage, and new toys. I have the light out, except for the light of the computer, so she can settle down. Every time she gets the least bit nervous, she reaches to pluck. I have never seen a bird that has removed all it's coverts too.

Aww poor baby! Poor Sheba. I'm so glad you got her back. And hoping she settles in quickly. I'm so happy for you Carole. I know how much you thought of her and missed her so much! When you get the time, please share a new pic of her.
