So, I have a planted tank that is sort of dying!
I want to kind of replace the plants and start new, since I am REALLY determined to make this work!!!
So I was thinking, should I invest in something like this?

I only have a 5 gallon, which i just have a betta fish and a pair of otocats in it!
Also wondering if i should replace the substrate with something like this?

I have black sand right now, but I don't think it's anything special.
And do i need a better light?The guy said it's okay if i use the light that my tank came with originally, which is what i am using!
