Hello. Hoping someone can help me out here. I purchased a white capped pionus back in September that i was told was 6 years old. it was a very aggressive bird but has since become friendly enought to hold and pet. we were just now able to check the leg band and it is dated 1986 as the year. If indeed this bird is now 25 years old is it to old to breed. The reason I purchsed it was to find it a mate and start breeding. does anyone know at what age you should stop breeding these birds. I would appreciate any info anyone can give me.
