"Pigeon" noise

Does anyone else hear their budgie doing a low little pigeon noise? Whenever I rub his head he does it, it's almost like he's purring He also leans against my mouth sometimes, I think to feel the hot air from my nose when I breathe.

Any strange little quirks/behaviors coming from your birds?

I've noticed from watching videos of Disco the Parakeet that he gets very close to his person's face in order to hear him talk! Must be a budgie thing
I don't know about that particular pigeon noise though. It sounds really cute!
