So, I’ve been feeding my budgies dry seeds since I got them (about 3 years ago) I’ve tried feeding them pellets before and they never ate them, they like to eat Broccoli and that’s about it, I want to switch them over to a pellet diet so they could get a little healthy.
I’m also a little worried that they might be overweight. We don’t have a gram scale to weigh them and my mom probably won’t let me go to the vet so they could weigh them. And tips or tricks on how to get budgies to eat pellets?

Also you can buy a kitchen scale that weighs in grams for about $10 :) much cheaper than buying a specific bird one! For budgies you can usually use something like a basket with a handle as a perch - put it on the scale first, then tare it, then put the budgie on the handle to get their weight :)

Budgies should not eat only pellets. They do still need seeds as part of the diet.
