I cannot believe what I just walked into.
I cleaned out their foraging box and randomly left it on my desk. When I walked into the room, I saw THIS!!
They have been together for 5 years, in separate cages of course, and in that time have lived semi-harmoniously. They fight daily over shoulder space and sometimes treats, but mostly just live around each other indifferently.
I have never once in 5 years seen them even sit touching each other much less snuggling and preening! Will Duckie finally allow someone to get his pin feathers?? Lol!

Yay! I ve had years for some of my flock to bond and forming close attachments!! So yes! When they get here , they usually stay as friends , as close friends that preen! Sure a little squabbling can still happen, it does here , but they get over it ( seconds here) and right back to buds. Congratulations to all ! May this trust and happiness continue forever more
