non millet treats for budgies

whats small enough for budgies as training treats that isn't millet but is same size? as i think millet in their diet so i dont feel its a reward for them enough

Thanks what if they are scared of it which they normally are of new foods some times putting in a new peace of apple makes them fly off

It may take time but when offering new foods it requires patience. I would think that offering chopped sunflower seed or tree nuts would be readily eaten, esp if chopped to size of millet

Tree nuts as in pine nuts or others?
