Adding my practically naked boy to the forum. His name is was Pookie through the rescue, but it just didnt fit him so I renamed him Sully. I truly think he likes Sully better. I know I do. Plus he actually answers to his new name. He is 10yrs old. I recieved him Sunday Nov 20th. My goal for this boy - get him healthy, happy, feathered,& spoiled
He hasnt been in a long time, if ever.

3 of my 5 are adopted

My first bird wasnt an adoptee because at the time I was clueless to the reality of the "bird world". Plus I was only 14yrs old. And the other bird that wasnt adopted was my special order bird. Other than those two .. Ive adopted. And i find it very rewarding to do so.

He's already got 3 grn feathers coming in on his belly. where all the white fluff is. knock on wood he allows them to stay. Id take a current pic but hes a bit aggressive getting out of cage. Im working on him slowly but cannot currently get a picture of his 3 greenies

This is true and very sad. My GW came from the same rescue and was a picker as well. After a year - change of diet, vet visit, sunlight, bathing and love shes not a picker. Im hoping to do the same with Sully. Thats my goal to help him kick those bad habits.
