I made new version of chop for Sweet Pea and Bebe. the last batch was not a huge hit with Sweet Pea, too many stinky Brussel sprouts.
so here is the recipe:
4 oz. of cooked brown rice
7 3/8 oz. yellow squash/ zucchini, fine chopped
4 oz. of blanched carrots, finely chopped
4 oz. mashed cooked pumpkin
1 oz. of frozen blueberries
1 oz. pomegranate seeds
3 oz. kamut, cooked
2 oz. quinoa, cooked
3 oz. each: black beans, Great White Northern, red beans/ calico beans, cooked
1 3/4 oz. organic steel cut oats, raw
1 tbsp. dried red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
I started early this morning prepping everything, soaking beans, thawing out frozen things, measuring everything. cooked beans, kamut, quinoa, rice, drained & chilled before mixing. food processer out for carrots and squash and getting it down to fine chop. once everything was well chilled,it was mixing time.
to the beans I added dried red pepper flakes, to the rice; dried basil and oregano. after everything was well blended I add the steel cut oats to tighten it up.

will chill over night and bagged for freezer in the morning.
