New pictures with my new camera

So I used my sister as my first subject with my new camera I think she did an excellent job I love these pics, I have discovered one of my favorite subjects is people! Just know this was my first time using my new dslr, so they are not anywhere near perfect...

Thanks . I think the first one is way over exposed, but that was the first set of pictures. After that I messed with the settings a bit.
(oh and A.J, when you see this thread, I took all these on manual

Very nice. The first doesn't look overexposed. It is very hard to get exposure right on outdoor portraits where white clothes are being worn. Yes, the highlights of the dress are a tad blown out, but not enough to be bad. VERY good pics, esp. for a first try at portraits!
