Yay! Another Indian Ringneck!

Firstly, what brought me to this site, is my Indian Ringneck. He (or she) turned 1 year old in August this year, and went through his first molt. But the feathers don't seem to want to grow back, and I'm getting really worried. I will take him to an avian vet as soon as possible, to have him checked out. Meet Bubblegum: (Not clear in the pic, but he's a very pale blue with bits of white, not sure what it's called)



And our African Grey, Coda:

I would definitely take Bubblegum to the vet. At first it looks like a plucking issue, but the featherless areas on his head cannot be from plucking. I am not sure what could be the cause of this. Maybe some other members might have some input.

How weird that it hasn't grown back!
You haven't noticed any pin feathers?? Also, it doesn't seem normal to me that there would be such large bald areas.
Could it be French Moult?? How's the quality of the rest of the feathers?

I unfortunately have no advice about Bubblegum other than to take him to the vet, which you already mentioned that you will be doing shortly. Hopefully there will be someone else on here who can help you out a little more.
Could it possibly be some kind of allergy or mites? Have you tested for PBFD?
