Hi
just found your forum and since having a bird, i have realized that there is no end to the things you can learn about them, I have an 18 year old male eclectus that I got from a rescue. His body is pretty well plucked an
and he has a wonkie wing. From the x ray it looks like he laid wrong in the egg. Needless to say he cant fly.
He is really sweet and follows me around the house sort of like a puppy. He would be happy to sit on me all day but unfortunately i have things to do. He is very good at kisses and says a few things. He was fed entirely pellets at the rescue and I have been adding in fresh fruits and veggies. We live in the southwest so he has lots of outdoor time. All in all it is a good fit. I am his flock and that is fine with me
