We got monitor lizard in NSW called gurana & once my Mom got it to let go of the kitten or cat it was trying to steal.
Not sure if it lived as a bite of a monitor lizard usually leads to a deadly infection.

Animals have to eat but I don't like to watch & feel bad for the one eaten
:wtf:

Really only a mother could love a brown snake they look so evil.
My parents are scared of them.

Not really sure how you decided "They Look Evil".
Id think people into a hobby like birds, who many think look evil, would be kinder to other animals.

"Brown snakes" are often, infact, not brown.
They can be bright red, black, golden, a purple grey, stripey, and the list goes on.

Many BROWN snakes, are not "Brown snakes" and are harmless.

There averages only 2 snake bite deaths in Australia annually. These deaths occur from improper first aid,
And often people agitating snakes with weapons.

Having worked with browns, Ill tell you, theyre not "evil", theyre terrified.

Do you have photos of your reptiles? Would love to see them :)
This is not a snake, but from Christmas 2012 I fell in love with his picture:

@Casey While someone I know likes to keep cottonmouths and a gaboon viper, I like keeping non-venomous reptiles. I do find venomous snakes gorgeous, your pictures included :) . I have kept a few venomous invertebrates in the past as I also have a passion for arachnids, but many people do not exactly 'share' that passion.

Most venomous animals I've seen are more defensive than actually aggressive. If a huge monster came into my territory, I'd react too...
