Yeah, put your crowns in a zip-lock baggy then into the fridge. I sprinkled a little water from my wet hand in the baggy too.

Okay thanks for the tip Rick. I’m hoping to plant them in a couple of hours

I meant any extras/leftovers that you're not going to plant. It'll make them feel like it's winter and too cold to grow. ;)
oh i see. We're potting them in soil in a pot.

Ooooooh, I don't have room for 10 plants let alone any soil. :hehe:
I don’t know if they like full sun or a sunny window. Google time!

Well, the ones living in the wild get tons of sun all day long. Our AGs are putting out 16 hrs of sun and growing. So, sure... :)

Strawberries need at least 8 hours of full sun each day, and they prefer slightly acidic soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.8. ... Many varieties of strawberries eagerly produce offspring, so it is best to space them 18 inches apart.

Strawberry plants don't do well in full shade, but so long as they receive at least six hours of direct sunlight per day they will grow in areas of partial shade...

Hope you have good luck with the strawberry plants. Used to have a strawberry patch near where I live. The plants were in full sun. Could walk over there and get freshly picked strawberries.

No garden. Next few weeks the yard is being relandscaped post hurricane. There are mountains of dirt brought in by the truckload sitting out back, I’ll take a picture tomorrow. The new fence will go up next week.

Discovered a major bug with the strawberries bowl. The bounty doesn’t keep track of the water with the bowl system. All this time there was almost no water left and it said water was ok! I just happened to stick my fingers into the water aperture and didn’t feel any water as far as they would go. Filled it up and will have to manually check it.
