How pretty. How long have you had them? Post some photos of your bunnies as well.

Thanks! I've had them about a year.

Bunny pics just posted in the other-than-feathers section!

I've been wanting to get some Coturnix for a few months now! They seem like neat little birds :)

We keep quail (bobwhites) out in our aviary. They share it with the Macaws during the summer and it all works out perfect. I actually keep them as my ground maintenance team and they do a great job. I love watching them, they are very special and not to compare with our guineas or chicken. They are so cute little fellows .... We choose a local/native quail because we bring the babies out back to nature, there are very few left in our area :(

Do you keep them indoors?
No, this is why I choose a native species to MI. They stay in our bird aviary all year long. I've put some shelter, grasses and for the cold time a heated bird bath in for them and they seem to do really well.
