Oh dear! Poor thing 
Oh no! This happened once to my Italian Greyhound too and we never did find out what caused it, but the vet was able to solve it. Let us know how it goes at the vet.
They said most likely it was a insect bite. They gave her two shots one shots one steroid and one Benadryl
Hope the meds do the trick & she's feeling better soon.
