My Penny got out

While cleaning her ladder and changing her food and water, My wee Penny got out, She banged into a window, poor thing. My husband managed to grab her and put her back in her cage, she did however manage to bite him. She's okay just a little shaken up and is sitting on her rope perch grinding her beak (or so it sounds like it). She's looking at me and has come to the side of the cage where i'm sitting. She's alright

Just so pleased she's back in her Cage, but I feel so bad and guilty, I love her to bits

She's a sweet pearly girl.
Glad she is OK! She was scared. If you've had her for a while it might be good to try to interact with her & let her out so she knows the room. It may take time but it would be good for both of you.

I see a lot of dowel perches. You might try to get her at least one natural wood perch to clamp on the cage as its better for the feet.

she's a lot better today, We've got a long way to go before she can be tamed.

What a beautiful girl. Must have been scary, but I'm glad she's okay.

I'm sure with patience and time, she'll settle.

Also, if she ever gets out accidentally a less-stressful way to handle her is to towel her gently or see if she steps onto a perch as opposed to grabbing her.
