My Lobsters

I have a lobster tank. The white ones I got for free. They came in with goldfish and they were picking on them so I was talking to the girl their and she asked if I wanted them I of couse said yes so I got them for free. I love watching them.

Mmmm, lobster! Just kidding! I had a blue crayfish once and a tiny red crab. Will they get any bigger?

Oh I would love to see the red crab. Yes, they will get bigger. But not much.

Those are awesome! Haha, every time i went to red lobster I would go to the tank and dream of kidnapping those guys and saving them. I have two shrimp and I absolutely love watching them, very interesting creatures. What do you feed them?

I hate going to red lobster now, lol. I feel like Im eating my lobsters. I feed them special lobster food I order online along with treats and they love veggies, especially raw potato. They basically will eat anything. It's also good to put eggs shells in their tank once in a while for their shell.

Wow, thats cool, I imagine they'd eat some sort of fish or something. I have the same problem! i'm a vegetarian, but I still eat fish, it seems sort of strange though since I love sea creatures, and want to be a marine biologist... :/
So, those are fresh water lobsters?

Here in the north eastern US we call them crayfish and down south they have several other species they call crawdads. Interesting creatures; they have blue/green blood because their oxygen distribution mineral is copper instead of our iron.

That is so great! We have a ghost shrimp and I wanted a full tank of them but the bf said no lol. Maybe if I show him your pictures he'll let me get lobsters!

I will get pics of them. They are freshwater. They do hunt and eat other fish, anything they can catch so they are in a species only tank.

i caught one down at my creek! They are fascinating creatures, He was blueish in tint

Crawfish are hunters. They catch and eat fish, snails, also eat some water greens (always find them around water cress) and also insects, insect larvae, even fish slime. Interesting little bloodthirsty little arthropods.

Yeppers, they eat anything you put in the tank. I have lobster food I ordered online.
