Our old garden had them too. Mum had a lily-of-the valley perfume which she loved and got me hooked on it until my allergies got to the point where I couldn't wear any perfume except sandalwood oil.
My Black Scallop Ajuga aka Carpet Bugle is blooming too. It looks like Spring here in OK but it sure hasn't felt like it lately. I tried to upload the Lily of the Valley smell but got an error that said the file format was not supported!!!
