So first let me introduce you to Mew. (2 years old)
Mew is very special to me because just like Yuma my american cocker spaniel she is the first furry animal that i got when i left my parent's home and just like Yuma i got her as a tiny little baby !

her story? my fiance's cousin have a friend that lives next to a forest, a wild skinny cat gave birth behind her house and had a hard time to take care of her 3 kitten, they tried to capture/caught the mother but failed, so they just took the kittens and found them new home. my fiance wanted a cat and we agreed that if we get a get it would be female and i have a soft spot for turtleshell and black cats, so when we heard she was available for adoption we couldn't resist !
My second cat is named Lucky. (13 years old)
her story:
when i was a teenager our family lived for 3 years in the Bahamas, they are very religious on those island and see cats as devils so if they can kill them they will.
we just arrived from france at that time and decided to bring our dogs and cats that came with us at the vet to know if there was any vaccines we didn't know about and also to learn about feline deseises in the Bahamas, they had a small canary cage in the clinnic and in it were 4 kittens and their mother, we knew we couldn't take them all but also knew that because of their religious belief no one will EVER adopt a black kitten so we just took her ! this was in late summer 2006 and now she doesn't live with my mum, she is with me for better or for worse.
about a month ago we realised that her kidney was not fonctionning properly at all so we decided to bring her to the vet and since then i have medication to give her and i also but her on IV 2 times a day by myself, if in the next month she doesn't get better it's bad news but as for now she is responding so well to the treaments we are optimistic !
